are you licesed to do this OUTSIDE of the army there is a hole other licence you must hold to be able to practice these kinds of procedures on other people. i would get in contact with your local ems unit to find your local protocalls and proceedurs and you will more than likely find these tasks are not one of them. if you do not check this out you could be putting yourslef at a huge libility

Local anaesthetic is only used by licenced people that qualify for the usage of it. Lignocaine can also be used in cardiac arrest so as you could imagine they would not let just anybody loose with it.
You could get a mild topical cream from the Chemist however i cannot imagine this being of much use to you.

um i dont think its wise to suture yourself or anyone else for that matter unless you have been medically trained to do so... you could set up a sever infection if things arnt sterile enough person can become septic... just dont think about it and go do it ONLY at a hospital

Are you trained to give sutures? If not you should not use that equipment.
This should be done at a hospital.

Most pharmacies sell a type of OTC benzocaine that should work well. Ask a pharmacist. He or she will be able to help you.

you should get it at the hospital, because it can be very dangerouse by doing it all by yourself.
