The "healthy" grocery stores - Wild Oats, Whole Foods, etc., often have cooking demonstrations. Also, you can usually find some cooking classes at upscale kitchen equipment stores like Williams-Sonoma. Check the activities section of your local newspaper. Many restaurants offer special cooking demonstration and/or cooking lesson events. If you both already have some cooking knowledge, then perhaps an at-home Iron Chef type contest between the two of you might be a fun date.

this is obtrusive the two him and his mom are old shaped yet i don't think of it is your duty to cater to that. My answer is that perhaps u would desire to signify which you and your boyfriend attempt making a meal jointly so which you do not sense such as you're obligated to be his housewife. you would be able to desire to even make it some thing appealing like telling him you will make the meal jointly, and whilst ur performed dinner he could have you ever as dessert. As for his mom, i in my opinion hate whilst mom's get entangled on your dating... she needs to enable pass and comprehend it is not her place to be suggesting the type you're looking after her son. do not tell her that, yet attempt and giggle it off or make up an excuse including "i want to earnings to prepare dinner extra, yet i've got by no skill had lots time with college/activities/regardless of." If he does not decide for the "making a meal jointly" concept... or the "sexed up" version... then that's a crimson flag that he's a momma's boy or expects his woman to cater to him or fill the stereotypical "housewife" place. And out of your question, that doesn't sound like what you want.
