1) What is worse and why? You failing yourself or you falling others.

2) After answering #1 ad God to the equation. How is this different? (Atheist ,need no answer this for obvious reasons.)

I feel worse when I fail myself - but it's still not the end of the world and everything I screw up, I can fix it or learn from it. I sometimes worry about failing others (those I really care for anyway), but here's the thing -- we can't always live up to other people's expectations or standards they set for us. There's just no pleasing some people. So you have to prioritize. If you have a parent who expects perfection from you - that's their problem, not yours. Sure - do your best, but don't take it personally if someone expects perfection from you and you can't attain perfection.

As for adding God(s) to the equation - my God(s) expect me to have reasonable standards for myself and to live up to my own standards. They don't set unreasonable standards for me. Therefore, if I fail myself then I have to figure out where I went wrong and correct it or learn from it. That's all they expect from me because they know I'm going to screw up. It's when I don't learn from my mistakes that my God(s) might knock me on my rear-end.

Finally, I don't believe in failure at the level of the soul. On a conscious, physical level - yes. But not on a vibrational/energy level.

I personally feel worse when I fail others. When I fail myself, I get up, dust myself off and decide to try harder tomorrow. When I fail others, I have to deal with that look of "I expected more from you", and with the hypocrisy of people who act like they've never done anything wrong in their life.

I don't understand what you mean by adding God to the equation.

Reading your question made me realize that I have not thought about failure during the last 40 years of my life.

Have I failed during these last 40 years? Sure, about a jillion times. But, I didn't anticipate it or think about it. Each time it happened, I just strove to correct the problem and go on with my lofty dreams of success.

To answer your questions: Failing to achieve my goals doesn't seem very important. Cause, like I said, I just keep hanging in there till I get the job done (I am very patient with myself). So Failing others is more important, cause they all seem to be in a hurry. - So I try harder when others expect me to succeed on my first try.

Question #2 : I think God only expects us to "get along with each other". Given that, to fail God is worst of all, cause it would mean that I have failed to get along his other children. - so to say.

Failing others. I have let other people down through the inability of not being able to complete the necessary course of action.

Failing others. When I'm responsible for myself and I fail, I can correct that with myself and only myself. It's an internal problem that can be dealt with internally. If my failure effects others, I can't necessarily fix it, and if it's my fault, it's my responsibility to fix it. That puts me in something of a bind.
