I think its what called "post-nasal DRIP". If you take sudafed, from time to time, the symptoms will improve.

Do these symptoms occur and then go away quickly? If so then you are experiencing allergies. It's typical this time of year, the pollen count is out of this world.

if it's annoying you, try an OTC antihistamine, such as Claritin or Benadryl. Either of those should help you out. If you want to go to the doctor, they should also be able to help you out with a prescription for allergies, such as singular or zyrtec. If you have nasal allergies, they may put you on something like Flonase or Nasonex.

You could have a cold or infection. I would suggest going to the doctor to get it checked out. If these are long term symptoms and you have had them for more than two weeks, it probably is an allergen. Go to the doctor. You can get tested to find out what you are allergic to and get more advice about the best treatment for you.

Allergies if it last more than 2 weeks. Try over the counter allergy remedies and then if they don't work. Call your doctor and if you don't get any relief there ask for a referral to a asthma and allergy doctor for testing. Good luck! Talk to your pharmacist and ask him for something on your first try.
