It's a scam!
We've all "won" the Australian, British, Irish,.... Lottery.
International lotteries are illegal in the U.S.
These con artists will ask for fees/taxes to be paid before you receive your prize. You never have to pay before you receive your winnings. They may also send you a check to 'cover' the taxes/fees and have you cash it and then send the money back. No legitimate lottery would do this! If you do cash it, you'll owe the bank back the amount of the check and may be suspect of trying to commit fraud.

Anyone can answer the lottery spam question for themselves with this simple test: Did you enter and PAY for a chance or ticket ? If not ... then you cannot win ! ... But if you do get curious and reply to the "you are a winner mail" ... the sender will surely ask you to pay something to collect your announced win. and ... THAT is the most positive sign of a fraud because no legitimate lottery will ask you to pay anything to collect your winnings ... US lotteries might deduct taxes ... but none ask you to pay anything up-front.

It is a scam. If you didn't enter you can't win. No company finds random e-mail addresses and sends them money.
They're going to either want money directly from you to collect your prize or will ask for personal information that they'll use to steal your identity. Avoid.

Wow. maybe it's just a scam or a trick. Try to ask some lottery store maybe they know if it's true or it's just a fake thing.

I would'nt get your hopes up, most lotteries is a gimmick to get your money and then you never hear from them again. There's usually a prepayment or they want your account no. so If you havent bought any tickets or applied, then its a hoax for $$$$. The one I got recently was for 1.3 million but I recognosed that from one of their subsideraires like clearwater fl.

1. Did you enter this lottery?
2. Do lotteries ever notify winners by e-mail?
Wake up.

So did other 1,000,000 people.
When you receive such a message you have to ask yourself a question: have I ever played this game/ bought a ticket from them? If the answer is "no", then you know that it is a scam.
