It cannot be good for your hair...I wouldn't use it. Why don't you go to CVS and get a temporary color kit and do ALL of your hair. It's probably safer for you hair.

I've never heard of doing this before. You can buy hair mascara which is better for your hair at a beauty supply store. Sharpie would be full of pretty harsh chemicals, and I know that it won't come off skin unless you use alcohol or something like it so with that I am certain it is harmful to take it out with alcohol as alcohol is bad for your hair. (gets it drunk ! just kidding, it strips the oils out and dries the hair). Don't do it. Sounds like a typical kid phase , so use the hair mascara if you must do it.

I have Blonde hair and I decided to expeirement just for you. I colored my hair all the different colors that sharpie has. The only color that stayed in my hair what the regular blue. All the other colors washed out of my hair after a good lather of clorine ridding shampoo, but i'm sure any other shampoo would do the trick. DON'T FORGET, condition your hair after using any chemical in it!

They sell temporary highlights, why use a Sharpie? But, if you use a Sharpie, it should come out with your shampoo eventually.
