Why do you feel the need to blame anyone? This is war... a war the jihadists declared THIRTY years ago... we just joined the fight recently...
Some folks think it's just about Iraq... what they don't get is that Al Queda, Syria, Iran, and a few other muslim nations are funding the insurgency in Iraq... Our troops are there to assist the Iraqi government as they train up their security forces. As we're fulfilling that commitment to the Iraqi people, 12 million of whom voted in a free elction for this to happen, some of our young men have lost their lives. It is horrifying, it is devastating, but it is the nature of warfare.

We should blame the lack of the American intellegent. Why we went to Iraq in the first hand?
Why young Iraqi boys are placing bombs in the side road for $20?
Because thier hungry, they have no school, no father or mother. no house or job to go to.
Other intrudre came from Iran, syria and Saudia Arabia to make conflict in the region so no investor go to Iraq so they sell their oil with big money. Also those Country are promoting violent so America leave the region so they can take over.
Think about it don't blame the Iraqi's thier good guys with no power. look at them thier valenteering in police and the army they are trying to get thier country back on track but the insurgent which are the introder's are stopping them.

The animals that strap bombs to their children and their young women in the name of their "god". And before them you can blame the animals that fed people into wood chippers for daring to whisper a word against them or broke the legs of athletes who lost a game or match.
Those people are not human. The people we are trying to free from that type of tyranny are worth the effort though, don't you think?
No I did not serve and I have never fought. But I know what is right and just and compassionate. Are we losing young lives in the effort? Of course we are. Is it horrible and agonizing? Yes it is. But who else will stand up to protect innocent people from the butchery of animals? The French? No! The Germans? No! The Dutch, Swedes, Australians, Italians, etc...? No! Oh sure, some of them will make an appearance. But the U.S. and the Brits are the only ones who have ever lifted a finger to try to help the fight against tyranny.
Does it makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear we have lost more soldiers (2 more today I think)? Yes it does. Do I pray every day and every night that God will give their families peace? Yes I do. And do I also pray every day and every night that those creatures driven by unprovoked hate and delusional visions of glory drop where they stand for no apparent reason other than it would be perfect justice for their murderous actions? Yes I do.
Do those creatures serve any god at all? Only one. And it is not the god they claim.

I hold George Bush , his advisers and supporters responsible for the current situation in Iraq.
I think your question asked about the entire Middle East. Many people are responsible in that case and I do not know enough about it to venture a guess.
