worthless things like bibles and crosses?

Bibles can be had for free, and are very easily obtained. The local thrift stores give them away, and so do many churches. My crucifix came over from Italy with my relatives; I'd have to ask how much they paid for it back in the 1800s. My medals and crosses were mostly handed down. So I don't exactly spend a ton on religious goods.

Well, 1st of all buying a Bible is not a waste. If you have about twenty of them, then, maybe.....

But not all Christians do that. I am Christian and I havent bought a Bible in a while. And I dont have hardly anything with Crosses on it, not because I dont think it is important, but just because it bugs me when people materialize Christianity.

I don't find my Bible to be a waste of money, Dont buy crosses, I do buy books and cards and stuff like that. Just read a good one on Heaven. Really interesting. I guess my money is mostly wasted on fast food. But that's just me.

I don't waste a dime. If I buy a Bible or a cross, that's money well spent.

that's a great question, because most christians are given a bible, or purchase a bible and hang on to it for most of their lives. it's precious to them, they write notes in it, and once the pages are well worn from much use, it's even better. so, no worries that us christians are wasting are money.........we spend much more money ministering to hurting people like you!!!!!

Hey, I buy a new one when the old one kinda falls apart.
But, I have picked up old Bibles, and it seems like GOD has annointed them more than a new one!
Cheap (one dollar bible's) seem very annointed too at times!
