power lines are often unshielded, and if a person coulddach high enough to touch them, they would be electrocuted y their inredibly ghvolage and current. How is it possibl thads can it on these wires without being harmed?

You would have to touch two lines to be electrocuted. In other words, your body would act as the line carrying the current from one power line to the other. It happens to squirrels quite often. As long as you are not adjoining two of the lines, your body is grounded and will not be transmitting any current.

You have to complete the circuit. In other words one end of you has to have a ground for current to flow.

Ever wonder how birds can sit on them? That's why. But let one get close to a ground and poof! Dead bird. I've even seen birds sit on power lines, and one is on the hot wire and another sits on the ground. One pecks at the other, both die!

There is something really wrong with your typing.

However if you are asking how birds can land on the wires without being harmed. It is because they only tough one wire and are insulated by the air from the other wires. Current has no place to flow.
