"And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen ---Matthew 28:18-20

Matt 28:19 - command from Jesus to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2 - The apostles receive the Holy Spirit
Acts 5:32 - The Holy Spirit is given to the ones who obey God
Therefore, they should have obeyed Jesus = they baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as He commanded!!!!!
speaking or teaching in the name of Jesus means to speak or teach about Him, about what he commanded (see Acts 4:18), so, baptizing in the name of Jesus means to baptize the way he commanded, to make a difference with other types of baptisms, like the baptism of John, (see Acts 19:3-5)
Got the point?

The Bible is not specific in naming individuals having been baptized by proper authority, but Matthew 28: 19 clearly describes how baptism is to be done.
The Book of Mormon confirms this biblical scripture wherein it says to call the name of the person and then say, "Having authority given me of Jesus Christ I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen" (3 Nephi 11: 25).
Both sets of scripture are clear by which baptism should be done under proper priesthood authority.

The explain how we are to justify ignoring the specific command of Jesus Christ, to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit?
Someone has, in your case at least, also ignored the part about teaching, too.

while a guy baptizes yet another man or woman, this is crucial that the baptism is run in the call of Jesus and not in the titles "Father," "Son," and "Holy Ghost." Doing so recognizes the affiliation of the baptism to Jesus' dying, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-6, Galatians 3:26-27). the daddy and the Holy Spirit did no longer die, get buried, then enhance from the lifeless. Jesus Christ did. Jesus Christ is the way, the very fact, and the existence (John 14:6). To baptize in the titles "Father," "Son," and "Holy Ghost" isn't obeying what Jesus commanded. His words in Matthew 28:19 let us know to baptize in the single call that represents the daddy, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. That call is Jesus. persons that decision upon the call of the Lord would be stored from the wrath of God to return (a million Corinthians a million:12-sixteen, Colossians 3:17, Matthew 28:19, Romans 10:9-13, Acts 4:12), and Jesus is Lord. each account of an unquestionably baptism in the recent testomony references the call of Jesus Christ. Baptism utilising the titles began in the early Fourth Century, in 325AD. there is not any reference in the Bible of any man or woman being baptized in the titles "Father," "Son," and "Holy Ghost," yet relatively in the call of "Jesus." the version is critical to appreciate: God has many titles, yet purely the call of Jesus has been given for salvation, and baptism is particularly a factor of salvation (Acts 8:12-sixteen, Acts 2:38-40-one, Acts 4:10-12, Colossians 3:17, Philippians 2:9-11, Acts 8:35-39, Acts sixteen:14, Acts 19:a million-5, a million Corinthians a million:13-sixteen, Acts sixteen:32-34).

If I tell you Mathews 28:19, You are going to ask me: who got baptized there? That is only a commission and nobody got baptized in that occation. So I let someone else take a shot.

Jesus is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Three persons.
One spirit.
So I guess it doesn't matter.
