May I suggest you take a few days and visit the Paso Robles - San Luis Obispo - Atascedero area. There are a multitude of activities going on in this region. Being close to the coast, and in that part of California you will have a Mediterranean atmosphere. There are things such as: Horseback Riding, Golfing, Amateur Theater, Art Shows & Displays, Bicycle Riding (no jokes), Wine Tasteing, Hiking, Tour the area Spanish Missions, or just going down to the beach on a full moon night to watch the light shimmer over the Pacific. Every one should stay at the Madonna Inn at least once. Participate in the Mystery Theater at Shell beach. There really is more to do there than you could possibly imagine. Check out some of their websites for other activities you may also enjoy. But then again if you don't want to do anything it's also a great place to just kick your feet up and relax.

Try Catalina Island. www.catalinaexpress.com and make sure to stay at the Hotel Vista Del Mar. In fact, check their website and see if they have packages right now. Disneyland.

You gotta be kidding me. I was looking forward to that Italy/Greece trip.....All right we'll figure something out later......Boo Hoo, I am sad now.... I was looking forward to vicarious travel....I am sad for you too...How about Palm Springs...????
