Currently, I believe the only restaurant in Chicago owned by MJ is called 'one sixtyblue' (1400 W. Randolph St. 312-850-0303). After checking out the website and reading the menu I was assuming this place would be way out of your league.
To begin with, the first thing you see on the main page is "Restaurant of the Year!". A few choice phrases from the its self-description only supported my first impression: "...has maintained a reputation as one of Chicago's premier dining destinations...is known for its fine cuisine, elegant surroundings and thoughtful service...Executive Chef Martial Noguier...boasts credentials that few chefs have ever dreamed possible..."
But to my surprise, metromix.com lists the average dinner entree price at $15-$25! With menu items like roasted hedgehog mushroom salad, rock shrimp gnocchi, grimaud farms guinea hen and cervena venison loin however, you may not be able to order what you're used to for $15. Granted, some of the fancy names may be just that -- you can get steak or lamb, trout or bass -- but if you're not comfortable in "a sleek, modern setting" with "high ceilings, an open kitchen and intimate lighting" where "Noguier, designer Adam Tihany and Michael Jordan put on the ritz", this may not be the place for you.
There's no mention of Jordan jerseys, or any kind of souvenir store either (except for "cigars in the restaurant humidor"), so this isn't anything like Michael Jordan's original restaurant where you could get his wife's macaroni and cheese for something like $8. Unfortnuately that, along with his marriage, Bulls championships and most of his associations with Chicago in general has gone by the wayside.
Metromix suggests making reserevations ahead of time for dinner at one sixtyblue. They do not serve lunch and are not open on Sundays. Oh, and just noticed this -- you can make reservations online using opentable.com, but they list the price as $31 to $50!!!

Michael Jordans Restaurant is closed for quite a while, It was rumored for a time to be the site of a restaurant to be named/owned by Sammy Sosa. But it never happened, for which Chicago is grateful.

$15 is cheap comparing to some of the places in Chicago I've eaten at. You can get a pretty good meal for about that much if not less if you know what to order. MJ's restaurant moved to a different location before Lalo's mexican restaurant moved in the space where MJ's was.

Michael Jordan's restaurant in Chicago closed several years ago, but it was a bit pricey at the time that it was open.

Michael Jordan's may be gone, but the Billy Goat Tavern is very much in business and a great place on your budget. It's right on Michigan Ave next to the river and the food is great.

If you think $15 is expensive you'll fall over at the prices at MJ's place.
