My BMR is 1560 per day (as far as I have worked out). If I've eaten less than 1200cal per day most days in the past week is it possible to gain weight? I've also exercised 30mins x3 this week.
Could someone please explain what I've done wrong?
Will eating less than 1200cal make me gain weight? If I eat 1200cal per day will I lose weight anyway if my BMR is supposed to be 1560? My weight is 88kg and height is 173cm if that helps.
Thank you

That sort of helps. It just doesn't make sense that I put on half a kilo when I've doing what I said. If I don't eat the minimum amount of 1200cal per day (ie eat too little) does that mean my body will store it and stop letting me lose the weight?

Thanks Mike. just didn't understand how I could lose weight one week and gain the next?

If my body is saying that it's not enough will it keep the fat it does have and not let it go and maybe even gain more?

I've been counting the calories using www.calorieking.com.au
if anyone knows of this site?

use measuring tape to chart progress. measuring yourself is much more reliable than weighing. weight fluctuates ALL the time, but measuring oneself has proved to be a very effective weightloss tool.
