There is some compelling evidence that Jesus was a mythology loosely based on the Hercules myth. It was possibly a great fraud orchestrated by Josephus and some others in the early centuries AD. No other historical documents (besides the Bible) known from that time mention Jesus AT ALL, which is pecular because there are plenty of documents extant, and if someone was doing all that miraculous stuff SOMEONE would have written about it!

Jesus of Nazareth was a historical figure, and actually existed. I think hes in some records or something. Thats not the issue under debate though, people just want to know if he was the son of god or not.

Yes the Bible states that Jesus Christ is a living being and his life is recorded in the four gospels. Jesus was a supernatural and living being at the same time. The bible states that he was "FULLY GOD" and "FULLY MAN." It's hard for us to understand but if anyone can do it, it's God

There is some question on this, though Christians will insist that he did. There are no records of his trial and death, despite the Romans being excellent recorders of this kind of data. To me it doesn't matter if he was an actual human being or not. I do not believe that he was the son of God even if he did live.

Not the Jesus portrayed by the church.
In order to compete with other pagan religions of the day the early christian church added aspects of osiris,dionysis, mithras and a couple of other "pagan" gods to the origional jesus and turned him from a great teacher like buddha into an all powerful deity. Looks like it worked.

He probably existed, but we may never know for sure as this was waaaaay before the time of birth certificates at the county courthouse.
IMO he was not the son of any god incarnated, but rather a wonderful teacher and the master sorcerer of all time.

As a history major I can say yes without hesitation
And as a Xian I could say that Jesus Christ is the atoning sacrifice for sin and everyone needs redemption and sanctification.
