I've already put aloe vera on it last night and tonight, but all last night it was really hard to sleep? My teacher at school told me to put apple cider vinegar on it, but first of all I thought she was just plain crazy and secondly I don't have any. Today my boyfriend poked and prodded my sunburn and it was annoying so I just want it to heal thanks....

Aloe Vera is about the best. Although many years ago there was a burn salve called "Kip for burns" that was found in drug stores. I don't think they make it any more. If some idiot tells you to put butter on it---DONT DO IT!!!!! I did when I was a teenager and my burn became infected. See if your aloe vera comes in a gel form. Then put it into the fridge for a few minutes before you put it on. That helps to cool your skin and helps the pain a little.

You just have to give it time. it will heal on it's own. But aloe vera is good. It will soothe your skin and prevent scarring.
