What happened to it? Did it go a long way?

I have always been a geek and popular and it did have an impact on me when I dated popular girls. I usually broke up with them because they were such groupies and followers of the crowd that I got annoyed when they couldn't do something with out two of her friends there to help out. I always broke up in public around her other friends so that their groupie friends would know the truth about who broke up with whom. Another problem with popular girls is they make up gossip when relationships are over so you have to do it publicly. I ended up dating the normal people before school was out. So much less crap and the relationships felt real.

Popularity is such a joke anyways. I wish I understood popularity then like I do now.
