ok so sadie hawkins is comming up and the girls are askin the guys to go with them and stuff and people keep telling me that this one grls is going to ask me. were not really friends and i dont have anything against her but i just dont want to go with her. (btw she hasnt asked me yet) the girl i wanted to go with said to me that she was going to ask me but she found out the other girls was. what should i do when she asks me? i dont want to be mean about it but what should i say?

awww, you have a secret admirer. Since the first girl, who you want to ask you out, will not ask you out, you should just go to the dance with this other girl. You'll make this girl's night and make her happy. And like you said, noone else is going to ask you because they think you are taken and no girl will ask you out once you break someone's heart.
People need to realize this is just a high school dance. It is nothing serious. If you go with this one girl, the other girl will see that you are sensitive. You can make it clear you just want to be friends with her and let the girl you like know that too. I'm not convinced the girl that you like really likes you and might just be giving you a reason for not wanting to ask you.

If you think saying no is mean, what would saying yes under these circumstances be? Consider the future, when Sadie Hawkins has ended.

tell the girl you want to go with that you dont want to go with that other girl, and if she asks you then you are saying no. then look at your girl and smile real big. hopefully she will get the hint!

i would go w/ the girl that was going to ask you and she didnt b/c she thinks the other one is going to ask you. I wouldnt take that chance b/c it just may be a rumor and the other girl isnt going to ask you.... just never know.
