Like everything else in the world, diet coke is fine in moderation. If you are drinking, let's say, four or five cans a day, this is bad. Especially if you are trying to loose weight - it's very ironic that diet coke is called such seeing as it dehydrates the body, which messes with your kidneys and digestive system, aka slows the metabolism. Besides, the sulacrose or aspartame (not sure if I spelled it right, sorry) inside the diet coke tricks your body into thinking that it is receiving nutrients, when it really isn't. I've heard from people that what you drink in diet sodas makes up for itself when you do consume calories.
Truth be told, diet sodas aren't as good as they seem. I'm sorry. Water is a much better substitute, especially if you are going on a diet.

There's no such thing as a "good" food. Try to look at food in terms of bad, better and worse. Diet coke is better than regular coke because it has no calories does not contain High Fructose Corn Syrup, but worse than water because it contains many chemicals that some claim to have negative effects on the human body.
If you follow the law of averages and make "better" food choices more often than you make "bad" choices, you will undoubtedly be on the path to success with not only weightloss, but a healthier lifestyle.

Oh nicely, I drink approximately 5 cans an afternoon and that i'm high-quality. i think of that ingesting something carbonated isn't stable for tooth (alongside with carbonated water) besides the shown fact that this is definitely extra advantageous than ingesting Fanta or Sprite or maybe diluting orange because it does not have sugar. i think of the caffeine unfastened one (gold can) is likewise stable and that i don't observe any style distinction. in case you like the style of genuine coke then the 0 one is powerful (black can). as long as you drink some water as nicely and don't purely get your liquid from eating ordinary coke and function a healthful eating ordinary i don't think of you have something to be afflicted approximately.

If Diet Coke is bad for you, then I died about 8 years ago. I lost over 30 pounds, and switching from Reg to Diet Coke was one of the things that helped.

Diet coke I guess is better than regular coke.
But seriously if you are trying to lose weight, DONT DRINK ANY SODA. No soda is "healthy".
It will only take you longer to lose wight by drinking soda.
Try other drinks, like Diet Snapple or Vitamin Water.

All diet drink and food is terrible for you. Aspartame is what they use for the sweetener, it causes memory loss, weight gain, makes you crave sweets and makes you hungrier. It also causes brain cancer. Do a research on it. It is toxic.

Probably. But so is being fat. You pick your poison- & take your chances. Keep the Diet Coke, keep the faith- & good luck with your diet. :)
