Why does my wordPad document doesn't look like it looks on the print preview?

Question

I'm writing an acting resume and using the tab key to make different columns and it looks perfect on the screen, but when I print it the text is all over the place!

word pad is not a word processor it is what it says it is a pad.

If you have not got a word processor then download Open Office 2 for free it is better than MS Office you can download it from the link below

there are several resume templates also within the program
