open the drivers door and look at the side of the dashboard, there may be a door covering the fuses.

Yeah. Check under the far left side of the drivers side of the dash board. Now, as you're hanging like a bat(laying upside down on the seat really), you should see a box-like object with fuses in it. There is one of at least two fuse boxes in your car. The other box should be inside the engine compartment either next to or just behind or even in front of the battery.
