American Eskimo's are very dominating dogs. They all want to be "alpha" and in control. They need a very firm hand. The squirt bottle idea is excellent. The jealousy is very much her wanting to be in control of the situation and the thrusting is a dominance thing. Even my two will try that one, though they are not eskies. Don't allow it and ALWAYS let her know that you are ALPHA or leader of the pack. With dogs, you become part of their "pack" and they need to know who is in charge. That does NOT mean abusing them, but you need to keep a firm hand on them and some breeds, firmer than others. Eskies are one of those breeds. If you allow her to dominate, the behaviour will get worse and worse.

The bad news it is a dominant thing. She is trying to say that you are her property and she doesn't like the other person being with you. -- Ouch!! You need to get this relationship a little more balanced. Try watching the "dog whisperer" on TV you will get the idea of what the problem is from him - what a cool show. anyway, good luck to you. I sure could be wrong but I don't think I am(a lifelong problem-lol)

Maybe she is seeking (bad) attention. Perhaps if you keep her on a leash and correct her each time she does this, she will know that it is not acceptable. Just tell the other person you are speaking with to please be patient, correct the dog, then continue your conversation. If your fur baby gets jealous again, correct immediately. If you are persistant, she will know you are the boss and she will be a better dog to be around !

Its a dominance thing, she is doing it to show you who is boss. You can either ignore her or give her a command such as "down". There is nothing sexual behind these actions. Just don't let her get away with it, let her know that she isn't boss. If that means she needs to be put up while you are talking to other people then so be it. Good luck :)

American Eskimos are very jealous dogs and they are very protective of their own owners.

it is to establish dominance. Next time she does it, grab her and put her onto her back and get down on top of her. This will show her that you are the dominant one and that she needs to obey you. Every time I get a new dog I go through this ritual with them. Then if they start to stray away from the who is the boss game I do it again. Also make sure when you give the command of get down, it is forceful and clear. do not say it nicely or pleadingly.

Huskys and Malamutes are really jealous dogs. A friend of mine had 1 of each - if you pet just one, they would almost kill each other for the affection.

She might just be the alpha in that set. not a bad thing to correct instead of just ignoring it .
