Matt 28:19 - command from Jesus to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2 - The apostles receive the Holy Spirit

Acts 5:32 - The Holy Spirit is given to the ones who obey God

Therefore, they should have obeyed Jesus = they baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as He commanded!!!!!

speaking or teaching in the name of Jesus means to speak or teach about Him, about what he commanded (see Acts 4:18), so, baptizing in the name of Jesus means to baptize the way he commanded, to make a difference with other types of baptisms, like the baptism of John, (see Acts 19:3-5)

Got the point?

But you cant dissregard that fact that in Matthew 28:18, the verse DOES state that we are to be baptized in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

God the Father instituted the baptism through Jesus Christ.

After baptism of the water, the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes next.

When you accept Jesus, you also accept the Father as well as the Holy Spirit. That's why during baptism you'll hear ministers saying "i now baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and HS."

The authentic Church has been baptizing people in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit for around 2000 years, now.

Some things just aren't completely described in scripture, because not even God thought anyone would be stupid enough to question them.

Actually the Bible is not a complete History and if there was a complete history im pretty sure all the books in the world wouldnt be enough to contain it. But so you may know Baptism has been around since Adam after they sinned and were cast out of the Garden of Eden. God commanded Adam to offer burnt sacrifrices First born lambs..After Adam did so for awhile A angel appeared to him one day and asked Adam why he offerered burnt sacrifice Adam replied"I know not except God commands it."The angel then told him it was in similitude of the sacrifrice of the Son of God who would come to redeem man in the meridan of time.He Then preached to Adam and Eve the Gospel of Christ and the principles of repentance..The angel then baptised Adam and gave to him authority to Baptize. Which he did many of his Sons and daughters and many of them did receive also the authority to baptize and preached of Christ..Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters even though the bible only speaks of Cain ,Abel ,and Seth. Most believed their Father although some did not and Grandchildren and so on started to even less more especially of the Seed of Cain. But since the Begining has the Gospel of Jesus Christ been preached and their has never a true prophet opened his mouth who did not speak of him.

I agree.

In Matt.28, Jesus was not giving a baptizmal formula. When He said the "Name" of the F,S and H.G. he was saying by the 'authority or power' of God or the Godhead. The new commandment that he gave to them was..""TO GO"...."( into all the nations of the world)..... They already knew whose name to baptize in.(Jesus)

Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness

of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:38
