I'm 20 and my guy friend is 22. One of my guy friends and I have gotten closers the past few months. He always asks if i'm interested this guy or that guy and silly questions about sex. One day, he was like "but I know you aren't the one-night kinda of girl" and suggested i starting dating. He even suggested himself, and I hinted to yes...but nothing has happened. Recently he's started giving me hugs whenever he sees me, and makes sure that they are long hugs. I'm just confused to whether he is just looking for sex...or if he wants a relationship?

You give very scant information but my recommendation is as follows. If he does want to date go out with him a few times before doing anything physical and slowly amp up the physical nature of the relationship. If you are a virgin you should think long and hard before having sex with him. If you are not a virgin then you know yourself when it feels right to have sex and make sure it feels right.
The main thing is to make him wait for the physical contact. If he just wants the sex then he will be unwilling to wait and either ask what is going on (a sign he just wants sex) or leave you. If he is willing to wait he wants the relationship.

Well if he verbally said outta his mouth that your not the one night stand type then he wants you for a girlfriend pointblank. A guy who wants to "hit it and quit it" isnt going to give you any clues to it, he wouldnt open up to you about that subject, he would hide it. Trust me on this.

sounds like he likes you and doesnt want just a one night stand.. he wants more.. if your intrested go for it... tell him it is ok... and you will both be happy..
