I don't believe so, the fast one was the 1932 V8!

Of course not! There were improvements to the engine, suspension, transmission, and the body is more aerodynamic on the newer models. Oh! Wait! You said, "1929" not 1999. Who knows? Who cares? If you're going to abuse a Model A, you deserve to be thrashed. Thanks for the two points!

put a k&n air filter on it and flowmaster exhaust with flames down the side of it and you'll be blowin' the doors off the '28 model A

what do you think? they implemented smog control between the 28 model year and the 29 model year. For crying out loud ! ! ! if you have one of these and try to drive it for speed someone like me is gonna kick your butt !
