All of the soon-to-be unemployed construction workers will start building housing developments in hell; according to most religious nutballs that's where 99% of the world is headed.

It is impossible for a person that was born and died before Christ to be a Christian. But, in the Old Testament there were basically 2 types of people. Those that followed God, and those that didnt. And I dont just mean the Israelites and the non-Istraelites, just God followers and not.

Few enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it
Before Christ they STILL believed that without shedding of blood there is no remission for sins. So they sacrificed animals to be able to be in God's Holy presence without sin, when they die. Now Christians do not sacrifice animals because the ultimate gift of death was given to us through Jesus Christ....
It is a scary thought, can you imagine a place without the God of peace joy happiness and life?...

You want..an old testament lesson on salvation here on yahoo answers??? I don't think you would even read something so long.. OLD TESTAMENT was different from now, but non believers still went to hell.
The whole thing is that you accept God's testament (agreement) that he has for man or you don't.
There are only two places to go so eithey you obey him or you don't, pretty simple.
But to explain the concept of the old testament would be pretty long for this forum.. even if I felt like typing all of it.
We are in the NEW TESTAMENT so you either recieve Christ or you don't.. pretty simple..

Actually Abraham didn't know about Jesus, yet the New Testament teaches that his faith was "credited to him as righteousness." In Hebrews 11, we see a long list of people who never knew Jesus but believed God. It was their faith and belief in God that pleased God. Blood sacrifices were used to "cover" their sins until the final sacrifice of Jesus Christ for all. Anyone who came before Christ but trusted God--believed God--and lived a life of faith was saved by the future sacrifice of Jesus--the sacrifice that was offered for those past, present, and future.
Since what we know of as space and time is created by God, and God exists outside of both, I'm sure that both heaven and hell will have plenty of room for all who belong.

Not necessarily. There was a place called paradise before Christ came, where the righteous dead would dwell until Chirsts sacrifice purchased salvation for them and they went to heaven with him.
Many of those people were Jews, I believe other God fearing people as well. Not to worry anyone can come to heaven who believes in their hearts and confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Everyone will have the chance to hear the Gospel, even most of those whom denied Christ in this life will still have another chance. I doubt that many people will go to Hell, and those that will decide to do so will have done so knowing that Jesus is real.

I really think trolling_for_fundies is on to something! Yeah! I think that man should start drilling into the earth to get to hell. We need to get on it stat! Many people will need homes, and construction needs to start happening NOW!
I don't believe in hell.
