This is something that really riles me too! I'm Welsh and was brought up speaking Welsh and even have a Welsh Degree. When I was in school our school was very close to the border so alot of people came to the school from England, and continually called us sheep shaggers (but our school was good enough!). And even now (i'm 22) when people hear me speaking Welsh with friends, family or my partner they call us sheep sh@ggers! Me and my partner went to Blackpool and were speaking Welsh and a man told us we were rude and ignorant and should speak English cos we were in England! I turned round and sais 'do u speak Spanish if you go to Spain?' and he soon shut up! Its so bloody annoying!
