I ordered a new Barrel for my WASR10 AK from gunbroker a week or so ago and now I'm trying figure out how to remove the old barrel. Does it pin on or are those rivets or what?

This is do-able but not recommended. (Very labor and time intensive) First the rivets hold the trunion in, so do not mess with them or you have just about demilled your WASR10. There is a punch pin in the trunion which must be drifted out, a 12 ton hydraulic shop press is the best but a big hammer will work too. If you opt to use the hammer be careful as that you can destroy the trunion in the process. After this the barrel can be removed but it will be difficult. The new barrel must be pressed in but must be done carefully, most people stack pennies on the muzzle and use the press. The pennies prevent damaging the muzzle. Now after all this the punch pin must be reinstalled. Lastly this could change your headspace so you should have a set of gauges to check it. If headspace is off it may not chamber rounds or will have excessively long headspace and will not safely fire.

It it were me in your case, I would save the barrel and buy a parts kit and do a legal semi-auto build and assemble an ak at a local group build.

By the way check out surplusrifle.com on the left is a tab for the AK47 click it and check out the pdfs entitled "From soup to nuts" Part 4 covers the barrel work and 1-5 covers the whole build process.

Remove the gas tube and furniture. Remove the barrel pin, take the rifle to a press and use a soft metal rod to push the barrel out, be careful not to damage the trunion when pushing the old barell out. Press the new barrel back into place, use a simple fixture or jig to hold the trunion while the barrel is pushed back into place, use the barrel pin hole as a reference point, press the barrel back into it's original position. Pin the barrel. DISCLAIMER: Thats the basics, don't break anything, poke your eye out etcetera, do this at your own risk... blah blah blah
