Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him… {3} Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

Yes, I am refering the so called Rapture to "that day" AKA The Day of the Lord....

The day we are gathered to Him....

I do not confuse these,
Rapture AKA Day of the Lord

Gees Luise....

Must I really rephrase the antichrist for you too?

Antichrist AKA Man of lawlessness, The one who must first be revealed.

Do Not confuse with his spirit that is already at work....That's not my question.

That's like saying, The Day of the Lord has already come because his Holy Spirit is in us....

There have been antichrists ever since Jesus paid the price for our redemption.

2Thes1:7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets/ holds down in Gk, will until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that wicked one be revealed.

I believe this means that the Holy Spirit & Saints with oil in their lamps will be raptured. Because it is the anointed prayer warriors who are holding back the Son of Perdition.

The falling away in verse 3 my Pastor preached is after the rapture. Then unbelievers are left behind, but also luke warm Christians & those who believed but never confessed Jesus Christ their Lord. Those who know what happened will turn to Christ, but it won't be the same or easy. The Son of Perdition will have, all who don't bow to the beast & take its mark, their heads cut off.

When Jesus comes back, He will destroy the Antichrists. Also, the wrath of God is poured out before Jesus comes back also. And the saints aren't apointed to wrath, so wrath will be poured out after all those who are redeemed by His blood are part of the 1st Resurrection.

Also, My Pastor has preached on it, and as preaching received fresh revelation from God about it. Bringing up OT and NT verses. So, I have the CD message, and He is convinced the Rapture is happening first. Also, the importance that we have oil full in our lamps and not be like the 5 foolish virgins. The oil is the Holy Spirit anointing. To pray in the Spirit first thing in the morning for as long as necessary and follow the Spirit throughout the day. Be ready.

II Thess 2:1 verse 3" Let no man deceive you by any means
for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first(original greek states for that day shall not come except there come a a departure first) and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition." Look further down to verse
7 &8 "For the mystery of iniquity does already work only he
who now lets will let UNTIL HE BE TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY AND THEN shall the wicked be revealed whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming"
Talking about the believer which is consistant with scripture.Who is the HE? it is not the Holy Spirit be ause he will abide forever he is God.
(1) Matt 24:38-39" As in the days of Noah...Type of rapture when God saved his people PRIOR to the flood.
(2) Gen 18 when God spoke with Abraham that he was going to destroy Sodom in verse 25 Abraham asked God this question"That be far from you to do after this manner to slay the righteous with the wicked and that the righteous should be as the wicked shall not the judge of the earth do right?"
Of course PRIOR to Sodom's destruction Lot and his family were removed.Has God changed? Would he slay the righteous with the wicked?
(3) Luke 21 Jesus speaking of the signs of the end times states in verse 36" Watch ye and pray always that you may be accounted worthy TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT SHALL COME TO PASS"
(4) Rev 3:10" Because you have kept the word of my patience, I will also KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR of temptation which shall come upon all the world..."

The timing of the Rapture in relation to the Tribulation is one of the most controversial issues in the church today. The three primary views are Pretribulational (the Rapture occurs before the Tribulation), Midtribulational (the Rapture occurs at the mid-point of the Tribulation), and Posttribulational (the Rapture occurs at the end of the Tribulation). A 4th view, commonly known as Pre-wrath, is a slight modification of the Midtribulational position.

First, it is important to recognize the purpose of the Tribulation. According to Daniel 9:27, there is a seventieth “week” (7 years) that is still yet to come. Daniel’s entire prophecy of the seventy weeks (Daniel 9:20-27) is speaking of the nation of Israel. It is a time period in which God focuses His attention especially on Israel. The seventieth week, the Tribulation, must also be a time when God deals specifically with Israel. While this does not necessarily indicate that the church could not also be present, it does bring into question why the church would need to be on the earth during that time.

The primary Scripture passage on the Rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It states that all living believers, along with all believers who have died, will meet the Lord Jesus in the air and will be with Him forever. The Rapture is God removing His people from the earth. A few verses later in 5:9 Paul says, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Book of Revelation, which deals primarily with the time period of the Tribulation, is a prophetic message of how God will pour out His wrath upon the earth during the Tribulation. It would seem inconsistent for God to promise believers that they will not suffer wrath and then leave them on the earth during the Tribulation. The fact that God promises to deliver Christians from wrath shortly after promising to remove His people from the earth seems to link those two events together.

Another crucial passage on the timing of the Rapture is Revelation 3:10. There, Christ promises to deliver believers from the “hour of trial” that is going to come upon the earth. This could mean two things: (1) Christ will protect believers in the midst of the trials, or (2) Christ will deliver believers out of the trials. Both are valid meanings of the Greek word translated “from.” However, it is important to recognize what believers are promised to be kept “from.” It is not just the trial, but the “hour” of trial. Christ is promising to keep believers from the very time period that contains the trials, namely the Tribulation. The purpose of the Tribulation, the purpose of the Rapture, the meaning of 1 Thessalonians 5:9, and the interpretation of Revelation 3:10 all give clear support to the Pretribulational position. If the Bible is interpreted literally and consistently, the Pretribulational position is the most Biblically consistent interpretation.

You ask a question, which come first, rapture or antichrist?
Which comes first?

As you are aware, anyone that is not of Jesus Christ is antichrist. Anti in the Greek is instead of. The instead of Christ that will come back to this Earth is Satan in the role of antichrist.

As for the rapture? No mention of this is contained in Scripture. This is a philosophy that came into being at or around the year 1830 AD by Margaret McDonald.

We who study the Bible know that Satan arrives at the 6th Trump and Our Saviour Jesus Christ returns at the 7th Trump.><>

Firstly, you must understand that the tribulation is a 7 year time of judgment for the UNBELIEVING church. Therefore why, would the BELIEVING church go through one second of that???
Also, remember that the great and terrible day of the Lord is another name for the tribulation as is the time of Jacobs trouble. Jacob changed his name to Israel. the anti-Christ cannot announce himself as long as the church and the Holy Spirit are still here. otherwise the anti- Christ would be deceiving Holy Spirit and the church.
Jesus said watch and pray that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that are to be. Luke 21-36. Also, 2 Thess.Chap. 2 and Rev. 3-10.
My personal opinion as to why some believe in a mid or post trib rapture is because they simply misinterpret the word.

I believe Antichrist is revealed in Revelation Chapter 13; and the Rapture takes place in Revelation Chapter 14.

well that's easy the rapture. The rapture is taken the dead and than the living. So whoever believes this is kinda got there head on backwards. God would not allow us to have to suffer the things the antichrist is going to do those who are lost. So common sense to me the rapture most defentely without reading scripture

I believe the rapture because the Bible says that the antichrist cannot be revealed until the Holy Spirit has left the earth. The only way that could be is if everyone who has the Holy Spirit living inside them (Christians) is no longer on earth. That is my thought on the subject but I am not am authority.

Well, Jesus said to the faithful church of Philadelphia that, because they kept His word, He would keep them from the coming tribulation that will be poured out upon the earth (this is in the book of Revelation). As the second half of the seven years of the antichrist's reign is the wrath of God poured upon the earth, I believe that the church will be raptured before the antichrist even comes to power.

There is also a verse in the bible which speaks of a hindering force holding back the rise of this man. I agree with bible scholars' interpretation this is the effect of God's spirit within millions of Christians that, when removed, will no longer hinder his rise.

I do not believe faithful Christians will suffer the tribulation.

Its easy. The man of lawlessness, antichrist was at work even at the time of Jesus and Jesus said as much. The rapture: He comes as a thief in the night and gathers those who are waiting for him to save them. You missed it. It already happened. He has come and gone. Now we are in the catastrophes. It is still relatively quiet in some places but the people who are for killing and stealing are yet to be paid for their crimes. That is soon to come. Do you like it when other peoples property is stolen and the peoples lives are taken by corporations and governments? Lucy, you've got some splainin to do.

In addition to that if one is unwilling to purify the heart and find the truth then the day will come upon him like all things to the blind. It will be of a sudden and then there will be no relief. Come to your senses and find the truth. It isn't what you think it is, but don't believe me, investigate for yourself and see with your own minds eye.

I warn because it is my wish that no harm befall any people in the coming days.

PS. Jesus was born as foretold in 1914.

Antichrist is anyone who is against the original meaning of Christ or Messiah: Annointed descendant of David who sits upon the throne. Reject that and you are antichrist.
