I want to know what is the stage between like and love because I've been dating this guy for three months now. Because of our busy schedules we only been out on three dates, however we've known each other for 6 years. We text and send e-mails everyday and talk on the phone a few times a week. I really like him a lot, but I know it's too early for love. What's the stage in between? Thanks.

I really don't think there is a stage in between. I think it's clear you either like someone a lot, or you love them, and it is never too early for love.

You probably just care for him. It's possible that since you were both friends before, that it will never leave the care stage. Plus you might not want to risk the friendship.

you sound as if you are in the stage of lust. it's a difficult period. you have strings pulling you every which way. That's how I felt when my fiance and I started dating. It's a happy time, but very confusing.
