Realizing that you are a gift from GOD and that no matter what anyone says or how you may feel due to certain circumstances that you are Special. When I am down about myself I speak life into the situation. One saying that I speak to myself is " I am the child of God in whom He is well pleased." They say that positive thoughts bring about positive outcomes. Speaking as someone who is 34 and on the upside of a very long battle with depression I can now say that I am a believer. Place positive sayings in places that you have to look at each day and read them and repeat them until they get on the inside of you. I also make Cd's. I pick the music very carefully and then I play them to death until I can work through the situation. Going to church and being around positive people also helps. Even if you do not want to go or cannot go for whatever reason, you can get church 24/7 thanks to modern cable tv. Your question is very vague baby boy. I hope and pray that you find whatever you need. In order to be able to fell better about yourself you have to learn to love yourself no matter who else does or does not. Two familiar sayings are "This too shall pass and He would not give you more than you can bear." Cling to whatever helps bring you up and know that all things happen for a reason or a more spiritual version of that is all things happen for the good of them that love the Lord. I come from a very rough background with neither parent there for me as a child and still not as an adult. I had to learn that no matter who had my back or did not have my back God always had my back and was carrying me through. Times may be hard but look to the good days that are to come when this storm has passed. Ask yourself what lesson are you to learn from whatever the problems that trouble you are. Make no mistake none of this is easy, but it gets better with time. Seek counseling if it has gotten to that point. Never be afraid to ask for help. Again I pray all will turn out well for you.

I like dressing up. Being well-groomed and well-dressed. Being sort of ostentatious. It always feels good when people pay compliments; I don't know anyone who can deny that. Sometimes it's just feels good to think/look back on the nice things people have said/written to me.
I also really like finding cool things about other people and letting them know that I feel that way. I love making people feel good like that.

Reading old poems someone wrote just for you.
Looking at old pictures which help put things in perspective. Going to see your best friend always helps
Read your old diary. Makes you realize thing aren't always what it seems.
