Because the cars are so damn big,, have bad mirrors and it's hard to see what's behind you and what's coming at you. And think about it, who would buy a minivan, someone who wants to be a road hog in the first place, so we are starting with a bad driver to begin with behing an oversized car and there is nothing but chaos in the future.

Well I am a minivan driver, a very good one in fact, I may appear to be a bad driver because I am probably looking for a pacifer in the floorboard!! :)

Bad drivers are not limited to minivans. They are operating all types of motorized vehicles !

Probably because where there are minivans, there are kids.
And Mom's are thinking of four hundred other things they have to do more importantly than driving.

But, I've heard this with every kind of car, you can just replace minivans with__________. i.e. BMW, Corvettes, SUV's, Lowered imports with "boom", ...you get the picture.

They can't concentrate with their three screaming kids in the back seats arguing and fighting, trying to call their spouse on the cell phone, divvy up McDonald's Happy Meals to all the kids, meanwhile keep their eyes on the road.

well, i sometimes take the family mini-van and i don't think i'm a bad driver. I actually think i'm a better driver when i'm driving it.

It's because their vehicle is so big they think they can drive however they want.

Kinda like truck drivers.

I'm usually in a hurry....lol. I have 2 toddlers and there is NEVER a time when I leave my house on time.

Cause they're constantly turning around and threatening their cargo to stop this car and go back there.
