There are no cures for a "heart attack" which is medically a myocardial infarction, meaning tissue death (infarction) of the heart muscle (myocardium) caused by a disruption of the heart's blood supply and oxygen, generally due to a blood clot (embolus) or stricture (narrowing) in one or more of the coronary arteries which supply blood to the heart muscle itself. Prevention and/or treatment are the only methods for avoiding or surviving a heart attack. Prevention includes medication, dietary changes, and exercise, while treatment might consist of the previous, plus such procedures (depending upon cause and involvement) as angioplasty and stent insertion or, if the situation is more critical (more arteries blocked), open heart surgery with coronary bypass grafts, and, as a last resort in a suitable patient, heart transplant.

There is NO cure for heart attacks. Low cholesterol, normal blood pressure, and 81mg of aspirin every night at bedtime are good ways to prevent heart attacks.

getting to a hospital/emergency room in time..getting emergency medical attention immediately.
simple: baby aspirin..on the way to the hospital..will help..it helps to dissolve blood clots..
also once at the hospital certain blood thinning drugs are given to break up the clot.
timing is everything..the sooner things are acted on..the better one's chances for survival.
