Hi, well hey those are your grandparents, they should be cool with that. You would like to go and spend some quality time with them, so tell them that, you miss them. Ask your parents whats so bad about going to your grandparents house to spend a few days.
Ask them if there are other reason's they don't want you going there that you don't know about or something?
Just stress to them that you would like the time with them.
Good luck

It sounds like you have more going on behind the scene than you have allowed us to see...which is fine. I'm not really sure why your mother would have an issue with something like that to begin with. Or why you are so obsessed with wanting to go...not that seeing grandparents is a bad thing, but your questions have me confused and wondering. As in, do you have an ulterior motive for wanting to go?

I don't seems why you shouldn't but honesty is the best way, tell her why you really want to stay, ask her if 3 days is to much and how many days will make her happy and unless there is a problem between them or other intentions from you to stay invite her and have a pajama party with grandma..gosh! what would I give to have mine now and do so!

Come up with a logical argument- you need a break from your usual surroundings, you can concentrate on a hobby better there or something of the sort. If that doesn't work use emotional appeal- something that your mom will like and sounds warm and fuzzy.

If you're really close to your parents and is very communicative beg the hell out of them.
Or just sit down and tell them that its your grandparents and not a friend, They are your family.

First you can't convince your mom, but you can try to be adult about this and try to reason with her. Talk to her about the reasons you want to go and your concerns.
Is there a reason she doesn't want you to go??? R u really going to grandma's house or somewhere else? BE HONEST!

Yeah, tell her you don't feel like you're close enough with your grandparents.. and you feel like it's just something you need to do .. maybe even add a little" Before it's too late " kind of tone to it...

Have you even asked? Would you be missing school? Do you ever get away from her? Call your grandma and ask her to ask your mom if you can come visit... unless it's your dad's parents and they are divorced... Then I see the problem. She should still let you, unless they are insane. :)

How about, "Hey, Mom, I thought it would be nice to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I miss them, since I don't get to see them very often. Would it be alright with you if I spend a weekend with them?"
