I am looking to purchase some wedding invitations...nothing too expensive but still very nice and sophisticated. Any ideas?

We had custom invitations, which surprisngly weren't that expensive and they were absolutely gorgeous. Erin was an absolute doll to work with.

I ordered mine at David's Bridal. They have a whole section that's just for that and you can check them out online too. I did mine in store though. There prices can be high but they have some nicer ones that are a lot cheaper. I got 125 invitations with colored ink and a colored envelope liner for under $200.

It's worth checking them out. They have a really wide selection. Check www.davidsbridal.com and click to see invitations.

Good Luck and Congrats!

We actually made ours on the computer using a wedding invitation kit we purchased for $20. If you know someone talented, you can have it done and they look professional without costing hundreds of dollars.

Buy the paper and do them yourself....my friend does handmade/computer printed invitations and buys supplies at
www.samflax.com, Michaels, Hobby Lobby...you can even buy supplies at Target now.

Try Party City or Hallmark for a great selection of invitations varying in price that you order.

I always suggest to people
www.annswedding.com
www.invitationsbydawn.com

Jean M and Rexcroft are ok as well but more expensive.

I ordered mine from invitationsbydawn and loved it. They have tons of choices and the lowest prices I found. Over 20 designs were less than $1 each.

We used an online company called Fairytale Weddings. Here is there link:

They actually custom made a design for us, as we did not see what we wanted on their website. There was no additional charge for this service! I hope this helps!

We are on a tight budget, so are making our invites ourselves. We've got some really good quality paper and are printing scrolls, then tying them with ribbon and adding a couple of feathers for decoration.

I purchased mine from annswedding.com. They were very inexpensive and looked great. I also received them quickly, i think it took a total of 1 week to print and ship. I was extremely pleased!

We got ours at Walmart of all places. They are simple but very pretty. White card with a thin silver border and two silver hearts inter-twined on top. We printed them ourselves on the computer and I think they look great!!! Inexpensive and very nice!
