Four days ago you didn't know if you were pregnant or not. So if you are actually pregnant, although I am not a doctor, I wouldn't think it would matter at this stage so long as the tat artist used clean equipment and the place was clean as well.

Sweetie, Its ok!! I know of a girl that wanted a tattoo really bad and decide to get one done when she was pregnant, she wasnt far enough along for the person doing that tattoo to realize she was pregnant but she got it done and this was no harm done to her baby!! However, I wont suggest getting anymore until after you have the baby!! I dont think there is really any harm that can happen to the baby. But I am not a 100% sure! Talk to you doctor about it!! Good luck!

Is it safe to get a tattoo during pregnancy?
No, because you could be putting yourself at risk of contracting blood-borne infections such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV from a contaminated needle. Most licensed tattoo and piercing artists use sterile instruments, so the odds are slim — but you probably won't want to take a chance when it comes to your baby-to-be. Aleph Kali, manager at Tattoo City in San Francisco, adds, "Why put extra stress on your transforming body when you can just wait until after the baby is born and tattoo the little one's name across your back?"
If you do decide to pay permanent homage to your baby, it's a good idea to wait until after you've finished breastfeeding. If for some reason you contract an infection, you could pass it to your baby through your breast milk.

You're fine. Don't worry about it. The reasons your advised to not get a tattoo during pregnancy is because of the possible risk of hiv or hep (and if you went to a clean, sterile shop of an artist, you dont' need to worry).
Also, some tattoo artists won't give tattoos to pregnant woman as they're concerned the woman may faint or the pain could induce labor.
Sooo, you and your baby are fine. :)

You should get a test done to see if you are pregnant. If you are get some blood work done to make sure you didnt get hepititis or HIV. The HIV test will have to be done twice because it can take up to 6 months to show up. Take care of the tat and dont let it get infected. If it does, make sure you see your doctor right away. I think that this is the only thing you have to be worried about. Good Luck

Did you get it in a reputable, clean place?
The biggest risks are bloodborne viral diseases from unsterilize or inadequately sterilized equipment. I'm sure it's very rare, but Hepatitis and HIV can be transmitted through tattoo needles.
The only other thing I can think of would be some of the chemicals in the dyes they use. I'm sure a little internet research can help you out there.

The reason that you're not supposed to get tattoos when you're pregnant is due to the rist of AIDS and infection. There is nothing in the ink that will hurt your baby, but you will need to make sure during your prenatal care to get the AIDS test done, just to be aware. Right now, just make sure to take care of that tattoo and don't let it get infected!

I'm not sure what the risk is unless your tattoo gets infected. You should have a test done to see if you are pregnant and if you are then ask your doctor about it.

RELAX! You'll be fine. I am tattooed and wanted to get another, read about it and decided against it only because I've had a staff infection before. Unless you've had history of infection, you should be ok! Just keep it really clean and it will be ok! You'll be a good mommy! Best wishes!
