No, its best to put the dog in the back seat and use a doggie seat belt. They can get hit with the airbag in the front, but the bigger threat is the dog can get in the way of the driver.

it particularly is a few thing I undertaking approximately each and every time I take my canines for a journey! I unquestionably have 2 Saint Bernard's and ipersistent a Honda element. A crate sufficiently massive for the canines won't slot in the vehicle in much less I completely do away with the back seats. so as that they journey unfastened (not in a crate) in the back seat. I unquestionably have canine seat belts that worked while they have been domestic dogs yet now are way too small, and that they are the biggest i can discover! For the main area they are o.k. behaved and lay down quietly after in basic terms a some blocks. we've been fortunate so some distance, inspite of the undeniable fact that it scares me to think of of what might ensue if i replaced into in a crash, i like my canines and can on no account be waiting to forgive myself in the event that they have been injured with the aid of my negligence! they have in basic terms been in the vehicle jointly a hand crammed with cases, in basic terms not sufficient room for them to take a seat quietly jointly, and since the parks & fields they exercising & run in, are in walking distance from our domicile, vehicle rides are actually not an argument very frequently! Take Care!

I truely dont think there is any safe place for a dog in a car no matter what the size of the dog is. But they do make seat belts for dogs and if your that worried then I suggest getting one for you dog.
I travel with mine in back in large crates.

It's more unsafe to other drivers. How do you know that your dog isn't going to jump in front of your face while you're driving and cause you to have an accident? Leave your pets at home or carry them in a cage.

If you have a big enough vehicle, buy a crate or a grate to separate the front and back. Secure the dog if possible so that he does not interfere with your driving.

Sure they can. So can you. But they're still probably better off in front than flying through the air in the back. No telling what they'e going to hit then!
