Well, firstly, remember you BORROWED the car. Borrowed means you have intentions of giving it back. He's your brother. If he wants it back, the only thing you can do is to give it back. If you still need it, you can plead your case to him & try to work his good graces in order to buy yourself some more time in which, perhaps, to find your own vehicle. Or maybe work out something w/ him where you can still use it on occasion. He lent you the car because you are blood. It was kind of rude for him to threaten you & I'd call him on that (but politely!) unless, of course, you gave him a reason to threaten you ( like telling him "no" when he asked for the car back...) In any case, you have to ask yourself is it worth it to ruin your relationship with your brother indefinately & get into trouble w/ the police & possibly find yourself in jail all over a stupid car? You decide! Best of luck!

well you could give the car back to him or talk to him about it and tell him that you really need it for important things like going to work or school or whatever. if hes threatening to call the cops on you then either hes a really mean brother or you took the car and didnt tell him about it. just be careful with what u say to him.

You need to seriously think about what your doing!! You are in possession of stolen property if your brother calls the police and after the story becomes clear the D.A will look for the charges of grand theft and possible fraud for what ever story you used to obtain the auto. They will check your license and to see if you are insured to drive his car and these will become more charges so you are looking at jail time even without prior arrests. The D.A will stack your charges and then offer to drop some of them if you plead guilty. And lo and behold you will end up in prison with a record and alot of time to think about what a dumb *** you were for not giving back what did not belong to you in the first place.

Give it back and get your own car in your name and then you don't have to worry about the cops coming after you.

If he calls the cops they will give it back to him if it belongs to him, so you really don't have any choice but to return it.
