Not much! Better to find a buyer direct. I had a ring that appraised for about $15K, I paid about $10K (I knew the retailer personally and got a discount).....took it to a pawn / resale shop....it was a 2 carat ring, italian designer, very unique/one of a kind....they offered me a whopping $600.....despite the fact they were selling comparable rings for $2-3K!

OMG - don't even go there!!!! I was desperate once, and pawned my most treasured engagement ring... they offered $80 -I wanted to die.... It's so not worth it.. My advice, ask your mom or a close relative, or whoever you trust, trusting enough that you can once day buy them back, like I did with my mom... good luck

Pawn shops don't pay properly. Try selling them to a jeweler that deals in used jeweler and stuff like that.

Don't pawn. Go somewhere that adverises that they buy used jewelry. Your chances of getting more for them is better. Pawn shops will give you bare minimum. Also, have you condsidered ebay?
