Fate: the will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do : synonymous with Destiny.

Coincidence:2 : the occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection
Coincidence is an accidental occurance, while Fate and Destiny appear to have a cause behind them.

I think there is a slight difference. Fate is more concrete, like something is going to happen and you have no choice. Destiny is more like, something is possible if you make the right choices. Coincidences are the little clues that I believe show you that you are making the right choices toward fulfilling your destiny.

There is no difference between fate and destiny, but coincidence is when something happens by chance.

While fate and destiny are similar, meaning that something is somehow fore-ordained or predestined, coincidence is the mere happening of things at times that cause one to wonder.

You might be a poor person, and really hungry and as you stand outside a store, longing for food, you reach in the pocket of a jacket you received at a shelter, and find a $5.00 bill, enabling you to eat. Or, you are thinking of a friend, and she rings you at that moment. These things are coincidence. They have no root in an overseer.

If a lot of similar things happen that you thought were coincidence, they are not, there is an angel or God guiding you, but I don't subscribe to fate or destiny. You create your own destiny, with God's help, or maybe with the devil's help.

Coincidence is a word I've often heard abused unmercifully by the skeptic community...

Fate and destiny is usually words used to justify whatever someone happened to be doing...

Fate is what is bound to happen. Destiny is what will happen, coincidences is something that happens which seems to be purposeful or pre-planned but isn't.

That is my own little definition anyway, not the actual one.
