Could some Native American Indians shed light on how effective trading land for peace really works?

My husband is part native American and he says that it does not work because the indians get the lands on the reservation that noboby else wants. You cant trade peace Peace comes from God.

There will be no peace in the middle east at the intentions of the west. The palestinians, will never ceed, nor will the jews. I think it is strange that people are so passionate for a land that is mostly denuded of trees, and in general, looks like a barren desolate land. Sure, there is a lot of history in the region, but who cares? Why doesn't one of these groups just realize, this particular parcel of earth is neither holy, or worth dying over. If the Muslims, AND the JEWS followed the example of their common father Abraham, they would both be willing to walk away from this land so as to have peace. Yet neither group resembles the peaceable man Abraham because they disown him by their inwillingness to consider the other as more important. The Muslims and Jews do a great injustice to the memory of Abraham by their selfish attitudes. Abraham, was called God's friend in the scriptures, why? because of his hspitality and regard for others. Jews and Islamists, should both be ashamed of themselves.

It doesn't work. If you give up your land like the Palestinians have, the oppressors will not stop until you are completely forced out.
