Is it my imagination or are Smarties getting better tasting? I used to swear on the taste of MnM's but now....Smarties rule! Maybe my tastes are just growing up.

The Smartie has a much more satisfying crunch to its candy shell!

I'm the exact opposite of you. I liked Smarties when I was a kid and hated M&Ms and now that I am older I like M&Ms better. Especially cold peanute M&Ms.

I prefer Smarties. They have a smoother milk chocolate than M&Ms. I like both, but given the choice I'll take Smarties. And recently they started selling Peanut Smarties. I don't know if it was a christmas thing, but they were really good.

here's how ya decide:

you wanna ask yourself these questions:
A) How do they advertise?
and
B) Do they have their own store?

Smarties advertisements stink, but the M&M's advertise using popular icons like Pirates of The Caribbean, and Star Wars.

Smarties don't have their own store, but M&M's have a 3-D movie in their store, and it's 4 or 5 levels (can't remember exact amount).

So in conclusion...M&M's are WAY better!

I like M&Ms the best. M&Ms seem to have more chocolate while smarties seem to have more coating.

Now that your mention it, I think M&M's are getting less tastey as time goes on!
