go to your local golf shop or custom/repair shop and have them put you in a launch monitor, that will tell you your swing characteristics and help the person fitting you to get you what you can hit properly...no way for sure to know until you hit clubs which ones will feel good...if at all possible demo some different clubs on a practice round on a real golf course...or pay the local pro for a playing lesson while you demo different equipment...dont just go for one particular brand because someone recommended it...being prudent in making this decision and being an informed buyer will go a long ways with this purchase...good luck and putt well!

There are lots of good sets for under $500. I bought a set of TaylorMade OS2 at Fiddlers Green. They felt the best to me but you need to chose for yourself I had all intentions of buying the Nike Sling Shots but when I hit them it felt like I was hitting rocks they had no feel but other people love them. So no matter what we say you need to try out 3-5 sets at a proshop and see which ones are right for you. Clevaland C4 we also very nice and you can find them for right about $500 I paid $500 for for my Rac Os2's 2 years ago now you can find them for $350- $500. Good luck.

lets see as of right now 17 minutes after you posted your question you already have a choice of 2 different brands.... The answer is which clubs do you hit the best and feel the best to you!....Nobody else is going to play them....Nobody else is going to pay for them. Go to a store and try them all out....Pick what is best for you!
