Ok I'm a highjumper so basically I go through this all year round. Basically its ok that you have shin splints, but you need to be icing them everyday after walking, or running, or jumping for about 15-20 minutes. For me I prefer to use a tub that gets down to about 42 degrees F! But after a while they will go away. And also basically what a shin splint is, is its just a small tear in your leg bone muscle that is bleeding slightly and that is why when you ice it, it freezes the blood, releaves the pain, and prevents more blood flow from leaving. Hope you pain gets better.

The stair climbs will nonetheless worsen your shin splints. you may want to motorcycle, it extremely is a good pass keep fit workout for runners. i'd damage down my operating to one yet another day even if that's Anterior shin splints. they're practically chance free and pass away after some weeks. even if that's Posterior shin splints, experience the motorcycle and attempt operating another day next week.

what you do is (cuz it happened to me b4 during track) you put ur leg in ice cold (i mean ice cold) water and keep it there for about 5 mins its going to hurt but it will work and also keep sitting on ur ankles it will help too, but at least put ur leg in the water at least twice a week, well I hope this will help you get better.

Ice them. Put ice on the front of your shins and just rest. They will go away. It is good to have them because it just shows that your on your toes and using those muscles. Just ice them, it does wonders.
