i own a shop, and all you do is pull on the lever down below the steering column ,and it will pop up and then release the latch the rest of the way on it,and that's it,really simple, good luck.

If you can't figure out how to open it, you probably have no business being under there in the first place.
I'm not sure on the new Chrysler cars, but the older ones have an inside latch, under the dashboard, to the left of the steering column. Pull that latch until the hood pops, then go to the front of the car and feel around under the center of the opening you've just created. There should be a lever or catch which you have to push to the side (or sometimes towards the rear).
There, you've opened the hood! That big thing in the center? That's the engine! Thanks for the two points!

The hood release is located inside the air box under the hood. Make sure your tire pressure is set to15 lbs before you open the hood or the rear car mats will slide under the seat and jam you power steering pump next to your spare tire.

Should be a hood release lever next to the left kick panel.
