When Jesus was on earth He assumed a human nature as well as maintained His divine nature. As a human being living in society, He observed the customs of the day...one of which was, obviously, wearing appropriate clothing.
Nudity in and of itself has nothing to do with sin...never did, never will. It is the circumstances of the nudity and the reasons behind it that determine whether it's positive or negative.

OK, You have a good point, I guess Jesus could have been nude without the shame of sin. But you are forgetting one crucial thing though.
Everyone else around him had the shame of sin.

1 Corinthians 14:26-40 talks about orderly worship. It's a good example in the bible where it says that we should not do or dress in a wierd or crazy fashion which would push people away from us rather than bring them closer.
He dressed as the people did in those days.
If you went to Harvard or Yale, and a bum showed up and began talking the gospel, would you listen? Probably not.
In order to spread the word, people have to be approachable. So, in those days, men dressed a certain way and women dressed a certain way. Jesus kept his appearance in such a way that he would be approachable.

you're heavily evaluating "Jesus Christ celeb" to Jesus Of Nazareth, the Savior of the international? No - Jesus became no longer a go cloth cabinet. that's recorded by technique of a number of Apostles that he wore gowns and sandals. i wish that human beings have not made a decision of who Jesus is in accordance to this movie, I have a feeling that that became the director's purpose. :( God bless!

that's a wonderfully spiritual question but as my father said, life is truly a mystery,i have wondered the very same thing once.i go with Adam and Eves definition of whats proper.and answer the door naked, especially when the Mormons come to visit, they don't mind at all.especially when its the sisters visiting and not the elders
may the holy spirit guide you and not the customs of man.
but to answer your question, he would have gone naked, but he had very big feet like i do and well, you may have heard about men with big feet .and well, you know ,and if he did go naked he might, i said might, be tempted by all the Lady's wanting him, is my guess.

Actually, they knew the shame of nudity when they knew the difference between good and evil...not sin. So, while JC might have been without sin, he still knew the difference, and knew it was wrong walking around nekkid...

Jesus was practical in everything he did. He also had a way of blending into the culture without becoming part of it. Jesus could walk any house or business and be accepted. Most of us can't even do that.

Well if you read the bible, because of the sin of Adam and Eve, they recognized themself as naked and covered themselves. Jesus covered himself probably because it was a soical norm, as it is today.
