im in 6th gradeand there is this guy and hes kinda nice cute and he is going out with my friend. the problem is i like him. the other day IN SCHOOL he slapped my butt. i was shocked and my friend did not see, [im glad]. but the guy is a little bit of a pervert. what do i do?

Well, do you want to go out with this perv or do you want him to leave you alone? If he is "cute" more than likely he knows that he is "cute." If he is slapping your butt, and you start dating the guy, more than likely you are going to be pressured sexually. And, not only that...he is sexually harassing you (regardless of whether you "liked" it or not...or whether your friend "saw" it or not) (if he was an adult, he would literally get a lawsuit slapped against him--if you were to think of school as a workplace...and you both as employees...think of it this way hypothetically). And, he has just made it abundantly clear that if you decide to pursuit anything with him... further, a sexual relationship is what he wants...and one without any real respect or care for you in a loving way. He isn't showing it to his GIRLFRIEND! I feel REALLY sorry for her, for dating such a looser! Remember, these are the experimental years. Most, tweens and teenagers use the relationships during this time in life to get a start on what they will look for later. Don't get pregnant or an STD. This is all you need before you get off to college and get your life going. And, loosing a really good friend over a jerk.
I would highly recommend that you take it as a personal affront. I would be absolutely insulted not only for me but for my friend. The next time he does something like that, you literally say, in a clear and loud voice, "Stop slapping my ***!" And, say it in a serious tone and DON'T smile. Don't slap him or physically asult him...he asulted you already.

Honestly, why do you worry about someone who you will end up breaking up with in a few months. The success rate of middle-school hookups actually making it to marriage is less than 1%.
If I were you I would focus on school and make something of your life and not let some little pervert preteen hold you back.
Sounds harsh I know, but I wouldn't wish life failure upon anyone.

Take it from me if your friend is going out with him stay away. I lost a friendship with one of my friends for the same thing you are going threw. And as for the butt slap I would tell him if he did that again you would tell his girl friend. If she is a true friend she would stand up for you. Yea and your right he is a bit of a pervert.

Okay hun you are in 6th grade, the same grade as my younger sister.
I'll give you the same advice I've given her. You're young, boys should still have cooties and smell funny. Wait until you're older to get involved.
If he slaps your butt again smack him across the face. It's disrespectful and degrading..
Also if he does this to you while he's with his friend, think what he's going to do to your friends if you date him.

This guy is a LOSER. Dont allow him to degrade you by slapping your anything and find a nice guy who wont be as stupid to cheat on someone as terrific as you. Plus you should let your friend know that she is going with a pervert loser. Friends should never let friends date losers. Good luck - cathy

1st of all you shouldn't be liking your friends guy, well I guess you can like him just don't act on it because one day soon you'll have a boy friend of your own and you wouldn't wont someone flirting with your man..right/ and far as him slapping you bottom, tell he better keeps his hands to his self! Learn at this young age, that if he's slapping your butt when he has a girl friend, that he'll be slapping someone's butt if you're his girlfriend.

Cute or not tell him to cut it out even if you kind of like him. Remember he is your friend's boyfriend and that means he is off limit to you. Try to avoid him as much as possible.
