Whenever I am axked to prove my belief in Christ or to show them some sign, I show them the statement of Jesus: "A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign." It's not they they don't believe or that they need proof. They don't want to think about God. That's why so many people call themselves atheists.

Actually no deity has left any trace of its existence in the universe, books, or human history (though the later has found that religion kills people more than any other cause). This lack of evidence is likely because no deity exists.
People want to feel good about their belief system. They laugh and sing with others who believe the exact same thing. They will never see any evidence to the contrary because it is threatening to their "faith" and they don't want to burst their cosmic bubble.
If your god operates on faith, then you've said it yourself: There is no evidence because god wants you to believe without facts. Hence, there is no proof that your god is any different from the 2,000 other deities created by humankind that rely on "faith."
But the faith argument is baloney. If evidence emerged that Jesus was the son of God, wouldn't the Christians parade it to the world and declare their religion right? Just like you say that god has shown himself through nature? Of course! But then, why rely on faith at all?
I think faith is a modern justification for believing in religion. It is the only excuse religion can come up with now that science has disproved many parts of religious books (like Genesis of the Bible).
Nothing is sacred but understanding the world as it is, not as we wish it to be.

Spider-man has shown himself through the comic books, the movies, the historical landmarks of new york city.
Your god doesn't exist. You can't claim he created anything until you establish existence. the scriptures are not a reliable source of information. no findings are evidence of the existence of any gods.
Why do you believe in this particular religion out of hundreds, but in none of the others? Is it just the one you were born into?

God has shown us some very important facets that reflect who He is but it will take a very long time to get to know more and we will never be able to comprehend Him completely... Jim

Silly goose.
I don't need more answers. I was raised in the church, was sincerely devout, even went to seminary.
When you see God, that's your interpretation. You have every right to it, if you choose.
I choose differently. To do otherwise would be dishonest. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

The Non Believers will not change their beliefs by looking at our facts any more then we will change our beliefs by looking at their facts.
We put our faith in GOD.
They put their faith in scientific and secular educational sources.
We can however tell people what Jesus has done and is doing for us and If they are willing, then the Holy Spirit will guide them into all truth.

So, basically, believing in God is without evidence and the more blind you are, the better.
