It asks for 1 egg and 1/3 a cup of milk. Is there anything else I can use? (I don't have egg substitute either)

You can substitute 1/4 cup of mayonaise per 1 egg, Mayo
is made from eggwhite (Among it's ingrediants). It is the only
substitution that I know of and it will raise and should not effect
flavor too much. Mix the Mayo, Milk and 1 TBSP of white
vinigar and it will give you a buttermilk corn muffin flavor.
