claim that sexual orientation is a choice.

Please tell me how old you were when you made the decision, what the pros and cons were, and if before making it you were attracted to both sexes or to none.

I made a conscious decision on my 14th birthday that I would be attracted to men for the rest of my life. However, I kept in mind that should I want to change my mind, I could at a later date. Of course, I would always remember that changing my mind would result in going against God's word.

Hilarious. We make our decision with our first sexual reviews? Ha ha ha. Mine were with different boys, and that i'm quickly. an outstanding form of fellows won't ever admit it, yet being 15 and not understanding the thanks to search for advice from with women and wot no longer, i attempted with boys. And each and each of the boys i attempted with are quickly, too!!!! no individual CHOOSES his or her sexuality any more effective than they opt for his or her sex. to assert in the different case is only to admit that as a christian you opt for to regulate what your neighbor does. provide it up. Homosexuality is as ordinary as heterosexuality. what's odd is the christian suitable being illiberal, judgmental, and bullying.

The thing that is left out of the equation is reincarnation When you make a decision in a former life and it doesn't make you "whole" then you have to deal with it later, that's why homosexuality and alcoholism are carried in the genes.

I'm not one of those Christians who claim orientation is a choice. I didn't choose to be opposite-sex attracted. I've known since I was in nursery school. However, I CAN and DO CHOOSE my sexual ACTIVITY.

If you're a christian and were born heterosexual, then why can't a christian that's homosexual be born that way without all the grief they get from your believers?...Isn't that just another example of religious hypocrisy?

Well I beilive it is a choice. Its ok to think the way you do. No one is going to stop you. But my faith tells me that is wrong. I have known many gay people and never had a problem with them as a person. I DO have a problem with their CHOICE! Let me ask you this. If you think that you are born gay, as a finite attraction to one sex, then what about bi-sexuals? Are they born attracted to both sexes? I have always wondered what other peoples feelings are toward this.

Oh, it was an agonizing process. I recall thinking "Do I want to have sex with women, or with men? How can I decide? How can I tell my parents that I'm secretly attracted to the opposite sex? Will they think me evil?"

Heterosexuals...
Homosexuals...
Adulterosexuals....
Fornicosexuals...
Besteosexuals...
Necrosexuals...

Surely, none of them made any choices...!

We should make up more words to define ourselves as an "identity" in order to excuse our sins as something we can't but help do!

Then, our sins won't be OUR fault, but the fault of our Creator, who made us this way!

We fell in Adam...and are all born sinners, my friend. So really, it makes no difference...

You don't have to make a conscious choice. That is how you are programmed. Some people choose to experiment.

You are not born an alcoholic or a drug addict.
