Critical thinking in general.

- Percentages (you'll probably need to figure out percentages from time to time). I know that it's not always expressed algebraically, but hey, algebra makes it easier.

I know it sucks. Just tough it out. I don't understand why I need to take History to become a nurse, but my college requires it.

yes, I too hated algebra.
But the reason for taking all these subjects is to teach you HOW to learn things. The complexity of figuring things out is a skill you will need to survive in life.
